ICQ is among the greatest p2p chat apps ever. G-Talk is about the fastest light-weight chat machine online. :)

Yahoo is huge and bulky.... Taking up roughly 24 MB of RAM on start-up itself, it can grow upto (and beyond) 40 odd MB with the passage of time. MSN-Messenger is also memory intensive.

I like Yahoo. Sadly, they're making it harder and harder to keep me liking them with the pile-on of ridiculous options and accessories. I prefer the clean, lean, and simple older versions, any day.

Hmmm.... This was a rant. lol! Should'nt have been here. :o) Shoot me.

Yahoo takes up 36.42 MB on my PC when running. My message archive has been building up over the past six years.... And sadly, it loads the entire thing into swap memory.. Slows my system to no end. :(

Sorry for the late reply, I run Yahoo very rarely on my system these days.... :o)
