Taken from the roof....

Mindless Moments
Here's what I saw yesterday....  It's both ironic as well as awesome, but worth a look nevertheless.  :)

No, not aliens, I was'nt taken, but what lies behind the cut is what's been taken.  :)

Stunned Indeed

Yeah, I know.... I was driving back from the club and I just hapened to look up at the sky.... Clouds as far as the eye could see, and I'm certain, way beyond as well. :)

I just came home, took my pen-cam to the roof and snapped pics like a maniac. :P It was just so wonderful....

The sunset will be next on my list. :) Thanks for the suggestion, I should have thought of it years ago. :P

Nice one! Pic 2 and 3 look like the postcard variety. I love Pic 2 cos its got this dark sinister background to it but with a silver lining like the fight between good vs. evil. >:)

Yeah, I agree, pic2 was absolutely brilliant, It really looks awesome, and as a matter of fact, it came out exactly as it looked in the sky.... :) Raw power and definately beautiful.... Soft and yet, in some angle, hard and uncaring.... Nature can sometimes be simply mindblowing! :-D

These are great pics!!

When we're going on a car trip, looking at these clouds always make me think of supernatural and mysterious forces...but me lil bro always spoils the mood by equating the shapes with animals!! Kids, really...:-)

When I was a kid, that's one of the things I'd do too.... But the fetish for affiliating shapes with factual icons soon left me, it's virtually a spoilt game once it's under the wing. :)

Clouds have always had a kind of beauty to their existance, a sort of a mysterious force of nature, if you may.... It's something I'm as yet a willing victim to wallow in, undaunted and accepting....

Only one thing comes to my mind looking at these pictures...

Lovely pictures, my favorite is the second one.Lemme get a digi cam...and I shall rival you in picture taking...the clouds and sunsets out here are breath- taking!

Thanyou for the pictures, Im borrowing them for my desktop bkgrnd. They really made my day!

Hehe! According to natural signs like the sighting of the pike breasted cuckoo, The monsoon should have broken it's spell of silence over our heads today!! But strangely, theres sunshine and blue skys in greeting. We need better geocentric investigation to figure out the problem of rainlessness. lol!

I'm using my webcam to take these pics. :P It's a pencam as i mentioned earlier, manages 1024x768 at times, but defaults to 640x480 on hi-rez and 320x172 or something in lo-rez.... :(

I'm trying to get my hands on a decent digi-cam, but that'll have to wait till the prices stabilize a bit. :)

Thanyou for the pictures, Im borrowing them for my desktop bkgrnd. They really made my day!

A pleasure.... :) I'm not sure how well they do justice to your desktop, but I'm sure glad you found them worthy of such an honour. :)

cool pics
Its interesting how pictures can say a thousand words. I have always been amazed by formations of clouds and i guess the pictures you took are amazing. Great work:-).From the picture, i pcan scribble a note saying, behind those dark clouds, there is a light guiding us to place we wanna go and be. The other significant thing i can think about is, a picture of two faces(yin and yang).Yet i could not figure out the first one though...hmmmm, im brain dead.

Anyways u r good in poetry. well, kalpana and i have a website. 1/4 of my poems are there. Why dont you check it out...can?

the url: www.geocities.com/nessiestarfish

check it out.

Re: cool pics
True.... A picture has no comparison whatsoever! :)

I'll be uploading a whole lot more of my cloud-pictures soon. I'm sure you'll enjoy those as well if you liked these ones. :)

I saw your webpage, I thought the little story about nessie and starfish in deep troubled rough waters was really sweet and cute. :)

I liked the poems especially. I'm a poet too (or so I'd like to think NEways!) and I think you might like some of the stuff I write.... I can't gaurantee that you'll like them, but I'll sit back and hopethat you do in anycase. lol!

Hope to see more of you around my journal, Not many people comment here, they're scared of something, I don't know what.... :P

It is wonderful! :)

Absolutely. I have a whole new batch of cloud pics.... A total of 52 pictures. :) Anyone wishing to use these pictures are free to do so, they're totally free of charge and are'nt really my property, they were creations of someone a level above all earthlings. :)

Ummm.... From this day forth, al comments on my journal shall be screened by default.

Some of my friends post a bit gleefully and perhaps honestly and I have also been requested that I keep some comments screened because that's about th only way some of my anonymous friends would comment at all on my journal.... :)

Re: ..Wow!!!!!
Hehe! Thanks!

Sometimes, I get lucky.... I'm at the right place at the right time, and everything goes so perfectly well....

Unfortunately, these things don't always last.... Life comes back and I write tons of junk between my creative spurts. :-D

Hey Dan!
Nice to see a new face out here. :)

Not many people comment out here, I'm what they call a guy who's been left alone.... It's really moving to hear that you've actually been through my blog. As I see it, there's tons of excess baggage when it comes to reading material out here and anyone would be pleased to quit if they had a choice. :) Not many people are without choices. lol!

I'll check out your site, after all, you've commented more than favourably here, and I owe you a visit. :)

Thanks for dropping by,
Kaydeeyoh and best regards!

I've taken two new batches of pictures.... My current sky-collection stands at a whopping 58 photographs.... :)

I won't post them all, but I'll make sure some of the nice ones make it to the public eye. :)

Hey, that is so pretty. It's very soothing...I like the second one the best, I think. It's like a play between light and dark...very beautiful. The buildings in the first pic look like Bangalore's or Hyderabad's. Am I even close? :)
